Michigan Tech alumni and former Aerospace Enterprise project manager has received the distinguished Linus Pauling Fellowship. After receiving his B.S. in mechanical engineering from Michigan Tech, Katalenich continued his studies at the University of Michigan in nuclear engineering. Under this fellowship, Katalenich will pursue research related to the  fabrication of dust-free plutonium microspheres for heat and electricity generation for space exploration.
